Honest Inspiration

Take one step,

Turn around,

Hey man,

What was that sound?

It went through me,

Into the ground,

One person,

Out of the crowd,

Being happy,

Being loud.

That sound was inspiration,

Heard around here,

And in every nation,

People telling their story,

Giving us a reason,

Not to worry,

It comes from,

Within their soul,

Changing the world,

Is their goal.

They make us wonder,

How and why?

Bring our hearts,

So high in the sky,

The beautiful words,

Won’t ever die,

Cannot ever die,

Their story’s a truth,

Not a lie,

All around is inspiration,

That may even make you cry.

Let me give an example,

Of these words,

That strike a chord,

This week I’ve heard,

Three speakers in my school,

Named Ricki, Jessica, and Heather,

They know that life,

Is as of right now,

So much better,

But that was,

Not always true,

They felt different,

Than me and you,

And they didn’t know,

What to do.

They felt hopeless,

And out of sync,

With the world,

Under their feet,

They even used to try and get high,

Why they started,

They don’t know why,

But it almost led to the end,

Of their lives,

After this is where,

Their change resides.

They began to seek help,

From their friends,

Their parents,

From their family,

Their life went from bad to good,

Now if you listen to them,

You will be inspired,

They went from,

The darkest forest,

And into the light,

Their story,

Their smiles,

Are all a beautiful sight.

Now these three stories,

Will be in an upcoming post,

On this very same blog,

So when you see them,

Please read along,

You will be inspired,

As much as I have,

Or maybe even more,

Inspiration and motivation,

Are what’s in store.
