The boy in the chair is Christian, my son with DMD.

He’s awesome. Always smiling and happy no matter what life brings him. Especially when he his playing all his video games and talking with his friends on the Xbox 360. In this picture he is visiting one of the local fire houses in our city. He always enjoys doing this because they help raise funds for research and summer camp for the MDA through the boot drive. We thought this was great. All the fire fighters are so nice. We even got to see them set up part of a hazmat shower; it was interesting. We also visited another station were the EMT’s and Paramedics are stationed at It wasn’t quite as cool but he totally enjoyed it anyway. He especially enjoyed missing a little school for it. But then he is 13 and doesn’t like school too much right now anyway. And what teenager does? He was especially happy today since he was finally able to get back online with his Xbox 360 as his got fried in an electrical storm but it is back online.

Now he is enjoying every minute.
